Inspired by the Japanese tradition of bonsai. This giant pine tree stood out to me due to its gnarly, woody characteristics and contrasting deadwood features, which closely reminded me of a bonsai. Its form and character, trained by wind and sun, flows elegantly with purpose and dignity. Its dynamic movement adding so much thrill and poise to a landscape it makes me appreciate nature so much more.
