Sheep may just be one of my favourite animals to paint, they’re soft, wooly, not the friendliest but fun to take on walks. This painting is sort of an ode to sheep, the warm glow of the morning sun being caught on their coat symbolises my appreciation for them, and the ancient tree representing the longevity of that appreciation.
