All of my favourite trees captured in one place, and during my favourite season. Towering pines stay true all year round, unchanged by the flow of nature. I’m mostly drawn by their unpredictable and knotted branch structure, but also their deep, almost blue shade of green. In the centre, brilliant shades of crimson and orange blend together and crown the acer tree, it’s young compared to its neighbours, but its radiance captures my attention immediately. And to the right, a curtain of swaying leaves in hues of blue and gold, the weeping willow. Its unique way of life makes a statement as its hanging branches rave in the wind. All reflected in a lake accompanied by white and black birds that gently distort the mirror of trees.
