At the highest peak of Scotland, Ben Nevis stands as the remains of the collapsed Devonian Volcano. Now streams such as this move rapidly from the summit, though a boulevard of boulders like arteries of a heart. Rocks are always joy to paint, none are the same, different shapes, patterns, colour, size, always a surprise once you look closely. They symbolise permanence as they have stood the tests of weathering time. .
