A snowy landscape of Arches national park in Utah during golden hour. The monument of rock highlighted by the sun like a stage light directing us to the star of the show, it commands attention. The desolate carpet of snow and bare branched trees support the main act, bolstering its grandeur through collaboration. This painting invites the viewer with a strike of light, and the freedom to explore surrounding landscape. It's my hope that those who see this painting will not focus on the leaf, and miss the tree.
