After finally finishing my psychology course at university, my friends and I took a short trip to Portugal as a reward and as a last big get together since many are moving far away. It was a fantastic trip filled with good times and long lasting memories, and even though I got sun burn on the first day, we spent our days exploring the city of Faro, hiking on the cliffs of Algarve and ferrying to a nearby island where my friend starred in an impromptu high school musical production.

This piece is made by a compilation of photos we all took during our Algarve hike. I stitched them together digitally and filled in the gaps through memory to create a composition that reflected the grandeur of the coast of Algarve and to capture the tranquil feeling of looking off into the distance of endless blue.
